Vintage Mountain Cottage

den-2

The vintage miner’s cottage has a proud simplicity in its squared walls, paned glass, and snug size where all rooms can be heated by one wood-burning stove. The windows look out to the mountains of Park City, Utah, once the dark underground workplace of hearty silver miners, but now a recreational haven for skiers, bikers, and hikers. The early miner’s yellow plank-sided cottage is more than a hundred years old. While it is an important reminder of the town’s mining heritage, without an addition, 500 square feet is too small for most busy families.
