A Thanksgiving table full of autumnal accents is the perfect way to bid fall farewell and give thanks for life’s blessings.
What better way to give thanks and set the mood for your holiday festivities than to host an outdoor Thanksgiving meal? Before the winter chill sets in, gather your loved ones around an outdoor table among the foliage and breathtaking scenery. This tablescape combines fall sentiment with rustic yet refined tones, perfect for creating a long-lasting holiday memory.
Line the table with heavy linen, and top it with a centerpiece of natural elements—large metal-framed glass lanterns filled with white pumpkins, berries, and twigs. When placed in a large metal tray, orange-hued candles and speckled gourds add casual, colorful accents to the vignette.
Tall pewter candlesticks lined in animal horn flicker in the evening air, adding a stately glow to the table. Brown and white china and ivory-handled silverware from years past pair beautifully with handmade napkin rings of twigs, feathers, and leaves secured with ribbon.
STYLE TIP: A special setting doesn’t require a lavish shopping trip. Mix and match old linens and new decorative pieces to personalize your tablescape.
