
Simple Roasted Asparagus
Makes 4 servings
¾ pound fresh asparagus, trimmed
1½ tablespoons canola oil
½ teaspoon salt
¼ teaspoon freshly ground black pepper
1. Preheat oven to 450°. On a rimmed baking sheet, combine asparagus, oil, salt, and pepper; toss to coat. Arrange asparagus in a single layer. Bake for 10 minutes or until tender, stirring once. Note: Use thick spears for roasting. If using thin spears, bake for 5 minutes or until tender.
