Luckily the couple makes a great team and creatively found ways to design a custom kitchen they both could enjoy. “We had to have a little bit of my world and a little bit of his world,” Ginny says of the kitchen style, which is reflected in nearly every vignette. With the help of Ginny’s decorator sister Mallory of Mallory Smith Interiors, the French antiques, gilt, and gold for Ginny now pair beautifully with the rustic barnwood, antlers, and ironwork for Ben. “It wasn’t a certain look that we were going for,” Ginny says but rather a collection of inspiration that worked in the space. “Plus, we have three little boys so we want to keep it as comfortable as possible.”
