Painted furniture pieces and intricate window treatments provide pops of color to contrast the home’s crisp white walls. In the living room sits a painted green armchair from a restored New Orleans hotel that inspired the home’s eclectic style, Heather says. Other pieces were gifted from five generations of beloved family matriarchs while others originate from local shops to markets as far away as Budapest, Hungary.
By the front door, a sturdy, white- washed secretary desk from Heather’s great, great, great grandmother houses frames filled with images of loved ones, as well as books and other keepsakes. Much like Heather’s photography, her home is filled with moments captured in time. The pieces tell stories of bygone days, and there is plenty of room for more treasures and more picture-perfect memories to come.
