a series of casement windows, which serves as the primary source of natural light for the space. The cabinets were designed by Wellborn Cabinet Inc., a local company in Alabama. The homeowners picked a polished marble called Calcutta Gold White for their countertops, which complement their stainless-steel appliances and subway tile backsplash. “We’ve seen this surface in some of our favorite restaurants, and realized that it would provide a rich, elegant finish to an all-white kitchen,” the husband says.
