The Cappillinos pay tribute to their heritage throughout the home as Leigh’s personalized eclectic style strikes a harmonious chord with transitional style. Leigh admits that it took her years to feel a peace about each room in her house—a peace that came only when something that represented her or her husband’s family found residence in a room. “Because our family lives so far away, the best way to always feel like they’re around is by putting them in every piece of our home,” Leigh says. “I’ve found that that just keeps us very connected and very grounded to not only where we came from but reminds us of how we want our children to appreciate how we were brought up.”
