TCJ: You took on the ultimate cottage-style challenge when you and your husband purchased a pop-up camper a few years back. How did you pack so much fresh style into such a small space?
AA: When we got this camper, I knew immediately if I was going to do any camping in it, I was going to need to lighten it up. So, we did it in stages. The first being to paint the cabinets and slipcover cushions and add bedding. Then the following years, I was able to trade out more bedding, accessories, and curtains. We love this little vacation home on wheels and the memories we are making in it.
TCJ: It’s been nearly a decade that you and your family have lived in your home, and there have been a lot of renovations. What has been your favorite project to date, and what do you want to do in the future?
AA: That may be a tough one to choose, but some of my favorites have been our bathroom update, the kitchen upgrades, and our faux fireplace/TV in the sunroom. We actually have a big plan on the agenda, and I am hoping we can make it work. We currently have two garages, and one is used as a laundry room. We are hoping to covert this with French doors, add another small room, laundry room, and finally get the second bathroom we have really been needing. So, that is a huge undertaking that involves a lot more planning, but we will see!
