Garlic Butter Croutons
Makes 4 cups

½ cup butter
2 cloves garlic, minced
1 teaspoon salt
½ teaspoon pepper
4 cups ½-inch bread cubes

1. Preheat oven to 400˚. In a small microwave-safe bowl, combine butter and garlic. Cook on High, in 30-second intervals, stirring between each, for 1½ minutes or until butter is melted. Stir in salt and pepper.
2. In a large bowl, combine bread cubes and butter mixture, tossing to combine. Transfer to a large baking sheet, and bake 10 minutes or until brown and crisp.

Note: Homemade croutons are so easy to make and taste much better than store-bought versions. Store leftover bread in your freezer for making this recipe.
