The Howells are a five-generation farm family. In 1963, Chris’s father added Scotch and white pines and firs to the farm’s 800 acres of soybeans, corn, and cattle to start college funds for his seven children. The first trees were harvested in 1970. Now Chris and Jenny run the operation, and their two boys are learning the ropes.
