“Of course, I love old things,” Caroline explains. “It’s hard for me to update with contemporary details because my heart and soul are with the antiques. I’m still trying to ‘marry’ modern and old.” A recent kitchen renovation put those blending skills to the test. The walls of of several small areas in the room closed it off from the living room, so the first order of business was to remove these barriers to open up the space. Then, the fun began.
