Apple Cider Shrub

Makes 1 drink

Ice cubes
½ cup apple cider
2 tablespoons apple cider vinegar
½ cup sparkling apple cider
2 tablespoons Rosemary
Simple Syrup (recipe follows)
1½ ounces elderflower liqueur*
½ cup prosecco
Garnish: Baked Apple Chips
(recipe follows), fresh
rosemary

1. In a drink shaker, combine ice, cider, vinegar, sparkling cider, Rosemary Simple Syrup, and liqueur. Shake vigorously. Strain into glass. Top with prosecco. Garnish with Baked Apple Chips or fresh rosemary, if desired.

*We used St. Germaine Elderflower Liqueur

 This recipe makes 1 drink. Multiply the recipe to yield your desired amount of servings.

Rosemary Simple Syrup

Makes 1 cup

1 cup sugar
1 cup water
4 sprigs fresh rosemary

1. In a medium saucepan, combine sugar and 1 cup water. Bring mixture to a boil over medium-high heat.

2. Reduce heat to medium, and simmer until sugar is dissolved, about 10 minutes. Remove from heat, and add rosemary. Let cool completely; discard rosemary. Refrigerate for up to 2 days.
