Inside, Averee’s eclectic decorating style takes cues from everything from traditional to urban-modern design. While the couple still has a formal living and dining room, they really find their open-concept living area that encompasses a bright white kitchen and a comfortable living and dining room to be best for fellowship. Throughout the cottage you’ll find collections of special things both old and new, that, when blended together, create a beautiful room that feels rich in style and history.
The master bedroom is their own little haven. With windows facing the pool on one side and the pastures on the other, the views are just as pleasing outside the room as they are inside. The couple created a living area on one end of their suite that allows the space to really serve as a personal sanctuary. “We wanted it to be kind of our little respite, our haven, where we could sit in front of the fire, read, or just chill out,” Averee says. “We can also enjoy the back part of our property, which makes this another space where we can relax.”
