Since then, Cindy has infused the home with her personal take on cottage style, which she calls “French country with a bit of farmhouse and a dash of fancy thrown in.” Decorating with antique and vintage finds, she has designed a home that perfectly combines a stunning French influence with welcoming notes of casual farmhouse style.

Cindy is quick to credit this style to two very important ladies—her mother, Edith, whom Cindy says was a pioneer in the world of antiquing, and her mother-in-law, Evelyn, a true Southern lady with a love of all things elegant. “Both of these beautiful women heavily influenced and inspired my passion for decorating with vintage and antique pieces and my love of French furniture,” Cindy says. “I love to channel my inner Edith and Evelyn, mixing opposites, like the gilt of a chandelier dripping in crystals with a chair upholstered in burlap or an old grain sack.”
