As the heart of the home, the kitchen is often the space where we spend the most time. Whether you’re whipping up a new recipe, gathering with the family for breakfast, or serving pre-dinner drinks to friends, it’s essential that your cooking space be a reflection of your personal style. Too often overlooked during the design process, kitchen appliances are beautiful opportunities to introduce an extra dose of personality to our homes—and these 6 products would be swoon-worthy additions to any cottage!

La Cornue

If you’re interested in making a major investment in your cooking range (and you don’t mind waiting up to six months for shipment), a French range is guaranteed to be a showstopper. Coming in at a slightly higher price point than some other options, La Cornue ranges come in either the highly customizable Château line or the more simplified—but still stunning—CornuFé line.

Café

The Café Appliances line by GE was designed to be a more affordable option for homeowners who love the look and customization of luxury appliances. The refrigerators, stoves, dishwashers, and more in the series are available in stainless steel, matte black, or matte white—and if those aren’t enough options for you, the company also allows you to customize the finish of the hardware.

Big Chill

Big Chill’s Classic and Retro lines consistently offer plenty of style and eye-catching colors, but their recent release of 1970s-inspired shades are especially noteworthy. Rich jewel tones and dusty reds represent the best version of the decade’s bold design choices.

Lacanche

Lacanche is one of the most iconic French range brands out there, and it’s not hard to see why. Whether you prefer the look of their Classique or Moderne line, these ranges come in a wide variety of shades, making them an instant centerpiece in any kitchen they grace.

SMEG

While this Italian-based company offers multiple lines appealing to a wide range of aesthetics, probably the most iconic of SMEG’s products are their ‘50s-inspired appliances. Seemingly endless color options for everything from fridges and dishwashers to juicers and coffee makers mean you can add a little vintage personality to any—or every—corner of your kitchen.
