Get to Know Southern Artist Kevin Brodeur

Kevin doesn’t call himself an artist. He says he is a painter that does it the old-fashioned way. He stretches linen and hemp on large frames he makes himself and manipulates paint into beauty. Inspired by Monet and Joan Mitchell he considers things that people don’t look at twice and then interprets them in paint. At that point those insignificant things inspire awe. “That’s my motivation,” he says.
