Balsamic-Parmesan Green Beans
Makes 6 to 8 servings
1 tablespoon olive oil
2 (14-ounce) bags frozen whole green beans, thawed
1 cup shaved Parmesan cheese
½ cup chopped fresh parsley
¼ cup Italian-seasoned bread crumbs
3 tablespoons balsamic glace, such as Colavita
½ teaspoon salt
¼ teaspoon ground black pepper
1. In a large nonstick skillet, heat oil over medium high heat. Add green beans, and cook, stirring frequently, about 6 minutes. Add cheese, parsley, bread crumbs, balsamic glace, salt, and pepper, stirring to coat.
Green beans enhanced with Parmesan cheese, fresh parsley, and balsamic glace make for a delicious side that can be whipped up in just a few minutes.
